I really enjoyed my perfectly clean and newly renovated room with king sized handicap accessible as well as supplies. Variety of food for breakfast, which was good to satisfy everyone.

Exceptionally nice reception, even for American standards very very very good (especially after we were first in the wrong because better looking hotel). Breakfast is typically American with waffles, omelette, very good coffee and real (!) orange juice. The location is very quiet, because it is a bit off the beaten track. The fitness room is small but nice and above average because it is on the second floor and has a mirrored side. The pool is opposite the other hotel (approx. 50m) and also very clean.

The (queensize) beds are unfortunately only 120cm wide and thus for 2 adults and two children respectively with 12 and 14 almost too narrow. In addition, both beds were unfortunately totally worn out or the suspension was broken. Whether this was an individual case in our room we cannot judge. But the back pain when getting up was already severe. Therefore we would not book it any more. The rest was, see above, but completely ok.

The hotel has recently been renovated, and the overall ambience is family-friendly. The food at the hotel is good. The family room comes equipped with satellite television, climate control, and a microwave oven, which we were happy about. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Newport News. It is a short walk to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Yorktown, and the local beaches.

The customer service here is top-notch, and you won't struggle to find a parking spot. The building itself is quite attractive, and the rooms are immaculate, offering spacious king-sized beds and handicap accessibility. Plus, they've got all the supplies you could need. Big shoutout to the super-helpful staff - they really made our stay 👌.

I had a wonderful two-day stay at this clean and cozy hotel; I would definitely return here in the future.
